Coil coating refers to the automated industrial process of coating coils of metal. This process results in a uniform finish across the material. Coil Coating is also referred to as pre-painted metal, as the material receives a high-quality finish before fabrication into the end product.
Most roller coating machines are commonly used for industrial applications utilizing rollers that will transfer a layer of coating from the surface of a roller onto the surface of the substrate.
The BDM Coil Coater system utilizes an efficient S-type Wrap Coating Machine to apply a controlled set amount of film thickness of paint or primer to the top and backside of the steel coil in one continuous pass.
